الحديث: عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه، عن النبي ﷺ أنه قال: «من صام رمضان إيمانا واحتسابا غفر له ما تقدم من ذنبه». رواه البخاري. شرح الحديث: «من صام رمضان إيمانا واحتسابا غفر له ما تقدم من ذنبه»، أي: ما من مؤمن يصوم شهر رمضان إيمانا بالله عز وجل، وبأمره بأن صيام شهر رمضان فرض فرضه الله عليه، واحتسابا أن الله تعالى سيجازيه على صيامه لهذا الشهر ثوابا عظيما، وتصديقا بموعود الله عز وجل لمن صام هذا الشهر، فإن الله سبحانه يغفر له ما ارتكب من ذنوب وما اقترف من آثام.
